In Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels

Wearing a face mask will still be recommended, including in indoor areas, in crowded areas and in places where the 1.5-meter distance cannot be guaranteed. The use of an FFP2 face mask remains recommended for vulnerable people.

The face mask is mandatory from the age of 12:

– in healthcare facilities such as hospitals and residential care centres;
– on public transport.
